Rebel by Amy Tintera

Wren 178 is a Reboot, someone infected with a virus who died and came back--the longer they stay dead, the stronger, faster, less emotional, and quicker they heal. She was dead for 178 minutes, making her almost inhuman--until she decides to save Callum 22 from the brutal training regime, a choice that ends with Wren, Callum, and a group of other Reboots escaping to a reservation for their kind.

All she's hoping for is some peace, but Micah 163, the reservation leader, has a different idea. He believes Reboots are the next evolution of the species--and he's willing to kill all the humans in order to achieve his goal--a permanent kind of peace. Callum wants to save the humans, but Wren isn't sure what she wants, and with the human enforcers determined to hunt down their best attack dog and break her to their will, Wren doesn't have a lot of choices.

Told in alternating viewpoints of Wren and Callum, you get to see both how they view themselves, and how other people see them. The two views have, as might be expected from someone who spent a long time in training designed to dehumanize them, and someone who escaped after a short time--very different. Wren is understandably weary, having been forced from fight to fight for years, but Callum brings out the humanity in her--good and bad. Together, you know they'll figure something out.
