I tried, I really did, but it just felt so incredibly juvenile.  Everyone's screeching, screaming, throwing fits.  The MC is repeatedly told he deserves everything but I can't even figure out why he's so well liked.  ML is pretty much instantly in love with little reason why (he likes his writing? And knows he can get pregnant?).  He also keeps some pretty critical secrets from the MC (see aforementioned pregnancy).
I just... it feels like a kid wrote this with a trope checklist.
