Trouble by Brittanee Nicole is the second book in the Boston Bolts Hockey series. This book immediately piqued my interest! Best friends and sometimes roommates, a grumpy firefighter and a gold retriever hockey coach agree to help watch over a pop star just leaving an abusive relationship with an ex that is stalking her. This book had fun banter, spice, found family, and coming out and finally being yourself! While this book may be a little too long, I enjoyed it overall. It made me want to route for these three to have their happily ever after. Cade, Declain, and Melina were all such different characters, but somehow worked so well; I enjoyed that aspect of Brittanee Nicole's character development. It felt authentic in the relationship building, and it made the spice of them finally come together even hotter! While this book had heavier themes, this book still felt fun and hot. I absolutely recommend reading it if you like instant love/lust and poly romances!
