Black History in Its Own Words by Ron Wimberly

4.0

Frustratingly short, this collection of inspirational artwork and short descriptions is readily inspiring of joy and hope. It will not take you but 15 minutes to wish you could savor more. Good bathroom reader or coffee table book, except that the illustration and topic seems like too much of a treat or mission to be relegated there, to be consumed as a time waster. Better as a calendar or set of framed posters, perhaps, which is essentially the genesis of the project anyway.
