The Originals: The Resurrection by Julie Plec

2.0

I honestly expected more from this and I finished it quickly so I could finally be done with these books.

The Mikaelson’s have gained control over New Orleans just to lose it between the werewolves and vampire fighting over the territory. The Mikaelson family must come together as one to ward off their city to their enemies.

Let’s start off with Elijah who completely stops caring about what Rebekah and Klaus are doing, except the problem with that is Elijah is the RESPONSIBLE ONE. How can you serious make Elijah Mikaelson the one who goes after a women and leaves his psychotic brother to start, yet another war.

Rebekah is off finding another lover. While I’m happy that she can find people to occupy her time since she hates being a vampire and wants to be human, but it gets tiring after a few times of listening to it.

Klaus got over his mourning quickly and went straight to destroying things. While his anger issues get in the way he builds an army to take down the witches and werewolves from having anything in New Orleans.

Honestly I just didn’t care about this book. Julie Plec really messed up on this book, but I mean she could barley write the TV show. I prefer the show better because the characters don’t switch personalities in .5 seconds. Overall, I wish I would of stopped on the second book and just called it quits instead of wasting my time on a book that just kept repeating what book 1 and book 2 were about.
