A Week to be Wicked started strong. The first half had me hooked with an engaging story and interesting characters. But as I got into the middle, things started to drag, and I found myself getting annoyed, especially with all the emphasis on how unique Minerva is. Colin's character was also a bit of a letdown. He seemed to have potential depth but fell short. Despite his humor and appealing qualities, his backstory didn't really add much to his current personality, leaving me wanting to know more about him. His history with women and life post-accident were barely touched on, which made it hard to understand him fully. At times, he even came off as a bit creepy, especially in the way he interacted with Minerva during the intimate scenes. While his intentions seemed sincere, their relationship just didn't feel believable to me. Maybe I'm outgrowing my love for cliché romances because this book didn't quite hit the mark.

However, the story picked up again in the latter half. There were some genuinely sweet moments when their feelings for each other became clear. Overall, it's an easy read if you're in the mood for a light romance escape.
