On Palestine by Ilan Pappé, Noam Chomsky

challenging dark informative sad medium-paced

4.0

A good introduction into the history of Palestine, as well as its future. For something from the 2010s it's frighteningly relevant and all the predictions made in it ring true with the current genocide. I thought the insight into activism in the west and considerations to be made in regard to action that actively benefits Palestinians insightful. Ilan Pappé's perspective as an Israeli historian and someone who grew up in Israel and is familiar with the culture was also very interesting.
