The Incal by Alejandro Jodorowsky
3.0

This is a deeply weird book - I kind of feel like I need to go back to the start and read it again!
John Difool is a fairly unlikeable protagonist (which is somewhat the point) and I don't feel like I really got a grasp on many of the other characters, but again I don't think that was the point.
The art and imagination of The Incal is amazing - it is apparently foundational for a lot of modern science-fiction, which I can definitely see.
Certainly worth a read, if only to confront the deep and interesting bizarreness.
