Loved the spice, but I felt like the characters were very one-dimensional. We don’t know anything about MMC’s life besides the fact that he runs this store and used to be a cop. We know a little bit about her but why does she have NO friends? Quite a few typos throughout. And the ending was very abrupt. They honestly barely know each other by the end. As erotica, it was good, but as a romance novel it was lacking. I also felt like the consent, while there, was a little bit dubious given the circumstances. We do get to explore that verbally at the end with them which I appreciate. Also, at a certain point she needs to stop calling him Asshole Bill. The way he was described throughout the book gave him a creepy and unattractive vibe. Oh and we never even find out how old they are which bothers the SHIT out of me.

TLDR: If you’re just looking for spice, absolutely read this book bc it was hot, but don’t expect much in the way of the plot or character descriptions.
