No Fear

This is hands down my favorite of the series. We still have the insta-love that we’ve had in the last two books but the arc of the series is finally getting some traction. This is definitely not a standalone so go back to books 1 and 2 if you haven’t read them yet.
I love Blake. He seemed really aloof in the last two books but now that we see him open up he’s a really great guy. His history is a bit heartbreaking but I love that he’s doing something to help similar victims. He has a great relationship with his brothers. He shows extreme patience with Aaron.
While I understand more where Aaron is coming from I’m still not 100% sure I like him. I don’t dislike him as much but he’s not my favorite character. He finally gets some traction on his self-discovery and growth. I have hope that he and Josh can mend their relationship before the end of the series.
The arc story surrounding Indy comes to a head in this one. There are still a few loose ends and a couple of questions I have but we mostly have a resolution. It is very predictable at times but I was surprised by a couple of things. And yes, everything works out exactly as it should which is hard for some folks to enjoy but I liked it.
We get a lot of Noah, Indy, Josh and Connor in this one and each of them have moments of greatness.
I’m absolutely looking forward to the next book…I am intrigued by Miles and Brad and hope Charlie gets some happiness after all he’s been through!
