A fantastic way to start my 2022 reading! This book is wholesome and sweet. It's a warm hug that's just going to hold you and tell you "it's okay." Or maybe hand you a cup of tea. I don't have any coherent thoughts because it was just so sweet and so good.
The world building was really great, hinting at a massive history without bogging the reader down in details. Dex and Mosscap are both fantastic, and I would die for either of them in a heartbeat. If I had one complaint, it would be that the plot meanders a bit, but that's not the point so it didn't bother me any.
