Joe Ledger: Special Ops by Jonathan Maberry
3.0
I'm a big fan of Maberry's "Rot & Ruin" series. This book has me interested in other books by this author, such as "Patient Zero". I love this short story style book. Some stories are prequels/sequels/add-ons to other books by Maberry. Some books warn of spoilers if readers are interested in reading the book that was published before this short story. Special Ops lives up to its name, and I imagine teen males reading this book quickly and happily. Good addition to any library, school or public. The best part is that each story has the central main character and his two military buddies, but the plot and scene is different. So, if you aren't a big fan of mermen, no problem. Not feeling the zombie story, no worries. Not into realistic special ops situations with a twist? This book offers something for everyone. I'm happy to have read it, and it's not even my preferred genre.
