this book took me a month to finish but about 3 days to read. i think i picked it up at the wrong time and ended up leaving it on my currently reading shelf from july to december, and then had to start over when i realized i didn’t remember a single thing 100 pages in—but when i did start it again, i ended up really enjoying it. 

 the spice was extra spicy in a minimalist way where even just a kiss could make your toes curl. loved that. 

i liked the couple but found some of fitzy’s issues a little too annoying and sort of inexcusable for my taste. i did really enjoy the side plots and featuring of art via video games and fashion design. this book convinced me i need to keep reading the series when i thought all hope was lost! overall, it was almost a 4 star, but -0.25 for my difficulty getting into it.

and hunter deserved better.
