Short but sweet, a simple premise from a very cool perspective, written just the way I like it, revealing the world through action and dialog.

It reminded me a lot of the Thing, with the same kind of tension and mystery and isolation. Very well done.

My only criticism is it is too short, I would have liked to be immersed in this world longer, and a lot of the humans kind of blended together, though I think that might have been the point; they are as indistinguishable to murderbot as robots are to us.

At times murderbot seemed a bit too human, I would have liked to see the thinking of a robot be a little more alien to our way of thinking. Super enjoyable read, I can’t wait to read more stories in the series!
