If I remember correctly, this is the first romance novel I ever read way back when I wouldn't admit I read them. I decided to reread it and wasn't pleasantly surprised to find I still like it as much now as I did back then. The tow characters are unique to any other novels I've read but not to life. I love how SEP puts them together, and pits them against each other at times. The heroine absolutely refuses to take any of the hero's crap, even though he can be an intimidating figure. Great story with very funny moments.
