This book was so fun! Didn't expect it to be the first book in a series, but I'm glad it is! I thought it was great how the more modern(ish) world was mixed with that of spirits and nature and semi-religion. Gisela was so entertaining - flirty and mischievous, having fun with the water goblin, and making the best of the whole situation. And yet, still being vulnerable and real, with motivations I could truly understand.
Kazik was fun with Gisela - I didn't quite get him at first, but he's also very relatable as you see him in the situations Gisela puts him in. I'm very intrigued to see how things work with Aleksey...since we've only known the biesy that's possessing him, I really can't see how the polycule will work.
