Bait and Witch
by Angela M. Sanders
Bait and Witch is a cute cozy mystery set in a town that has had some trouble. The mill shut down decades ago leaving the townspeople angry. When the new librarian comes to town to escape her trouble in DC, she runs into more trouble when she discovers that not only will the library she was hired to work at it about to be demolished, but she discovers a dead body in the bushes as well.
The story started a little slow for me at first. It took about 100 or so pages to really pick up the pace. Josie was dead set on ignoring what was going on as far as her abilities and strange things going on without questioning them. That drove me crazy. Also, it was a bit predictable but some cozies are that way.
I have set the next installment on my to-read list! Wondering if it will be a bit better and hope we learn more about Josie's gifts.
Thank you to NetGalley for the read.
