I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
Huge, mad respect to Jennette McCurdy for going through what she did and her bravery in being so open and vulnerable about her journey. The way she shares her story is concise yet powerful, profound yet down to earth. What sets this apart from other celebrity memoirs for me is how real she is. Her bluntness and refreshing sense of dry humor adds so much authenticity to everything she shares. Would highly recommend listening to the audiobook narrated by her. All the inflections and emotions in her voice add another dimension that hits different.
