The language is difficult to conceptualize the ideas that are being conveyed in this book. I understand that it is translated from spanish to english so vocabulary and sentence structure can change. This is not why I stopped reading the book though. The subject matter was too vile for me to finish. The descriptions and scenarios in which these people endure is sad and grotesque. It is difficult for me to imagine that a woman wrote these things.
