She Went All the Way by Meg Cabot

5.0

This is the best escape book I know. It's a contemporary romance featuring Lou Calabrese, a Hollywood screenwriter whose heart is broken when her boyfriend of ten years ditches her for an actress. Jack Townsend, the hot and sarcastic star of Lou's Copkiller movies, is targeted by an unknown assassin as the two helicopter to a movie set in Alaska in winter. I love Lou Calabrese. I love the dialogue and the chemistry between Lou and Jack. When the world gets me down, I go back to this book, because I have it in a crummy old paperback that I would never throw out.
