If I’m honest I wish Moyes had stopped this series at the second book as it felt that all the storyline’s were neatly wrapped up at the end of After You. I did still enjoy this book for what it was though but found it very frustrating at times with what was happening towards the middle of the book. I really appreciated the latter part of the book where we found the unlikely friendship develop, and loved how it resolved at the end of the book. Moyes has a beautiful way of adding nuance to a story and helping us understand that people aren’t always as they seem and our outer layer is not always reflective of our lives and personalities.
