I adored this book with my whole heart and I cannot wait to go back and read about the different love stories from this series. Ezra is an amazing single father to his son Hansen who is the cutest kid, and moved to this small town to have a fresh start. Brie is the youngest daughter of 5 sisters and is Ezra’s new boss’s daughter who is off-limits. These two had an instant connection from the first time they laid eyes on each other and couldn’t deny the sparks but they can only be friends.

Ezra was a dedicated father and who doesn’t love a dedicated father and who could fault him for it because Brie could not. I loved that this book was not only a romance story but family was also at the center of this book. The relationship that Brie had with her sisters was so relatable and the bond Brie had with her parents was so special. I LOVED the relationship that Ezra had with his own small family as well as the relationship he created with the Delatou family was everything he wanted. The history of the Chateau Delatou was probably one of my favorite parts of this story.

I only wish there were more scenes with Brie and Hansen but from what we did get I loved those moments between the two of them and the bond that they had. I loved the banter and tension between Ezra and Brie, their relationship was built on trust and friendship making it even more special. When it came time for Ezra to gravel he did not hold back and redeemed himself and was perfect🩵. The spicy kitchen scene we chef kisses.

If you love single fathers, small towns, found family, and second chance then this book is for you🩵!

Thank you, Amanda Chaperon for the opportunity to read this ARC 🩵.
