Don't Tell Anybody the Secrets I Told You: A Memoir
by Lucinda Williams
3 stars firm
I don’t read many autobiographies/memoirs so I may be a bit generous with the stars here.
Basically, this is very good during the first half or two thirds of the book before LW gets famous. She has a great voice. After fame it goes down hill dramatically. To me the basic problem is that she gets careful with what she says about people. I particularly disliked the very last chapter of the book where she gives us clichéd messages.
