A Million Junes by Emily Henry

5.0

Melodic and mystical, A Million Junes will pull you into a lush home nestled by a lake and forest and teach what grief, love, and family means. Absolutely one of my favorites this year. Magical realism done well.

Books like A Million Junes make me want to go back and reevaluate all of my 5 star reviews to make sure they made me feel the feels the way this one did.

Based purely on writing, this would get a 4/5 from me, but I loved the story and its melodic cadence and mystical setting too much. Plus, it got a little extra *sparkle* for me since it was set in Michigan.
