Killer on the Road/The Babysitter Lives
by Stephen Graham Jones
The Killer on the Road-
You know how Moby Dick is a great book, but it's also a wealth of information about 19th-century whaling and boating? That's what this book is, but with big-rig trucking. And like, it's a good story and I had fun, but sometimes we would really get in the weeds about trucks and the interstate and my eyes would glaze over and I'd forget who I was and what I was doing.
The Babysitter Lives-
I love a good haunted house story. I will always be sat for a haunted house story. Was it unnecessarily convoluted and had way too many ill-defined and frequently stupid/nonsensical rules? Sure. But it was still pretty good! Also, one of the best introductions to any horror book I've read. Oooky spooky.
