I Bet You
This is now the 3rd book I’ve read from this author in less than a month and the one I like most so far. This author writes about quirky women who are involved with athletes. Each woman has something unique about them that draws the athletes to them as they are bored with the “jersey chasers” they usually sleep around with. This series focuses on football players. While it’s not necessary to read “I Dare You”, Ryker is introduced in that book as the best friend of Maverick, the guy who is involved in the fighting scandal that is mentioned in this book. The scandal really rocked Ryker’s foundation and he’s still reeling from the fallout. Penelope writes for the school paper and did a not so nice story on the scandal which is how our two heroes are introduced. The football team has a bet board that the players believe help morale on the playing field and this is the story of how one of those bets plays out.
