This book...*sigh*
It's beautiful.
The guy is near perfection.
Damn I didn't expect to like it this much.
About the book:
A millionaire guy needs a green card to stay in the country. The girl needs the million dollars he's offering to escape the eviction notice for her grandma's house. Both as against the idea of love as they can get, having being burned in the past in their own way. If only things went according to plan...
My thoughts:
It's a hate - love romance, but not really. It's just got loads of witty banter and snarky comments that can crack you up and leave you with a besotted smile and also laughing out loud.
The guy... he's got his swoon moments *insert dreamy smile*
I loved how much attention he paid to her. How much he loved her.
I loved how strong the girl was. How fierce she was.
I did however want some more struggles put in their path to test their love and show their loyalty and feelings. But that would've made it more complicated and emotional. So I guess it's good without that too.
I loved how light hearted the story was and how funny and how sweet!
Pick this up if you're into hate- love romance without the actual hate, millionaire romance, fake marriage contracts and lots of angst! Wait did I miss out on the humour?! Oh how could I...it's the best!
