I think the book was pretty okay. Hal started with his life story which sounded engaging and pretty moving for that chapter. But in the subsequent chapters he started talking like someone who was too overly excited, he said that you should live you A-level life and that you should always be happy. But let's be honest, we can't always be happy, sometimes there are just days it's not going well. He also started throwing stats that 95% of us always live life in mediocrity, without any references or proof whatsoever. All the overly excited banter of him aside, the morning ritual he gave was good and really helped me to exceed in life, it was simple and fun, and I like that. Even though it didn't get me to a so-called 'A-level life' it energized me for the day, which was good enough. If Hal had focused on his morning ritual and not all the other side-stuff I'd him given more stars.
