“For a brief moment, god and gumiho stare at each other with matching expressions of stubborn dislike that seem to mask, on both sides, a flickering of respect.”
What happens when a fallen god and a previously notorious serial killer team up to catch a demon who has the ability to kill even the gods themselves? Chaos (and also falling in love).
I enjoyed this book so much. I don’t watch a lot of k-dramas but this one very much gave off that vibe—think Goblin and My Demon. I loved knowing about the different creatures of Korean folklore (wish there was a glossary tho). Hani and Seokga’s banter was entertaining to read because they really knew how to push each other’s buttons.
I’m very glad that I decided to read this a few days before the second book came out because I lost my mind after that ending😭😭
