MY HEARTTTTT!!! I CRIED at the end of this book y’all! I was so hesitant to start it because I knew it was the end of the trilogy but I’m so glad I jumped in head first. In book 1&2 Everly was such a timid person who seemed afraid of everyone around her. We heard OF Callum but we never actually met him met him. We heard he’s some big, bad, monster demon who no one wants to fuck with.
Once we are introduced to Everly from her POV we find out why she is truly timid and just how horrible her “family” is to her. You know, I hated Kent in the first two books but what he did to Everly in her book crushed me. When Everly first got away I thought she’d never go back but she did and she became so strong. We found out HOW the grimoire ended up in Rae’s possession AND how she “lost” it. We also get to see Juniper, Zane, and Leon again but from Everly and Callum eyes.
This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy and I could keep going on and on about it. I just loved it so much.
