Autobiography of Red by Anne Carson
4.25
adventurous funny reflective slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Super interesting concept and I loved the way the book played with form (with appendices and imagined interviews and narrative verse) but admittedly felt at times I would appreciate it more if I were smarter. Found it easier to listen to the audiobook to define the characters and voices better, as when I tried to read it  I felt the need to decipher every line like with typical poetry. Mostly appreciated the funny little characters and surprising moments of beauty in monstrosity
