Great plot line okay characters. Elver and Artair were driven characters with struggles and sad back stories you learn through the story with dual POV. The monsters jih spirits were creative and diverse. Elvers abrupt and straight forward personality mixed well with Artair's cautious and kind of gullible one. The side characters introduced throughout the story being some diversity and drive but the side quests to the main kind of just seemed drawn out and made me lose interest in the story itself. The scheming seemed a little drawn out as well. The world and the unique gods and way to obtain magic through them was fun and interesting. Although they were explained pretty. Overall a decent story and will probably continue.
