A crew of neuro-diverse specialists make first contact with an alien intelligence. 
'Blindsight' includes some sci-fi horror elements, such as Lovecraftian aliens, space vampires, and rogue AI. Luckily, the camp is blended well and subdued by the hard sci-fi topics like orbital mechanics, magnetics, biology, psychology, language and communication.
'Blindsight' feels more plot-focused and clips along at a medium-fast pace for the subject matter.
