To Kill a Kingdom
by Alexandra Christo
Rating: 3.5 stars
A story with an exciting plot and some great tropes (enemies to lovers, found family) and a lot of potential.
The good:
- The banter
Some of the dialogues were witty and extremely entertaining. The comebacks!! Too good!
- The characters
The found family gave!!
The not-so-good:
- The writing itself
It felt monotonous and just bleh . I felt like I was dragging myself through the book.
- The ending
Just not satisfying enough. Too pretty of a bow.
