Okay... I chose this book as a palette cleanser for all of the long books i've read recently and it did the best job. This was honestly one of the best palette cleansers I’ve read in a while. I flew through it in one sitting and it was just so cute and I genuinely adored almost everyone in this book.

It was also so relatable, especially the whole parasocial relationship angle. I actually did a whole speech on that for a class once, so it really hit hard for me. I loved how the book explored the struggles of being a celebrity whose entire identity gets reduced to one ship or one public perception, while people ignore who they actually are.

The romance wasn’t my absolute favorite, but it was still really sweet and had some cute moments. I do wish we got more drama between Walter and Hayden though! Also, I loved the little cameo of Tessa and Imogen from the Imogen, seriously since it is set in the same universe. I just read that one recently too, so seeing them again made me smile.

Overall, I’m really falling for this author’s writing style. It’s fun, thoughtful, and super readable. Can’t wait to read what she writes next!
