This book was a solid 4 stars for me. This was a fast read and I did enjoy it, HOWEVER, it was often scattered and slightly hard to follow.
Earl and Greg have an unconventional friendship and a sweet bond in filmmaking. I enjoyed how the author showed the main character's vulnerabilities and emotions. I thought some of the modesty was a bit annoying but that's just how some people are, I know! I liked how the book didn't focus on the terminal illness, but more on the bond between unlikely friends. I would recommend this if you've read a couple intense books lately and want to read something fast.
