Of Blooming Embers
by Rowyn Adelaide
Rowyn has done it again. Immediately upon starting book two of the series, I’m reminded how beautiful and graceful Rowyn’s writing is. She somehow is able to string words together to create a perfect description, allowing you to picture everything happening in the story with ease.
This book is written from different POVs which gives a fun twist to the non stop adventure the characters take us on. It also allows us to learn more about the past of the FMC and MMC as we see each of their flashback memories.
I’m so glad we got to see the continuation and deepening of the found family relationships that were formed in book 1. Breena is the best with her comic relief and I love any scene with her in it.
I’ve been a sucker for Gavrel from the moment I laid eyes on him so this book was everything to me. He is broody, protective and spicy and I can’t get enough of him and Seryn.
Also the ending?!?! A fecking masterpiece.
