A very interesting concept - I enjoyed how Namina crafted the story for her main character but felt like the world building was rushed at the end. Why would the Alaki suddenly believe Deca when she says the death streaks were their blood sisters out of the blue? Why would she suddenly believe in the Guilded ones being goddesses vs demons? I also wanted there to be more of a discussion on why the J'atu imprisoned the Guilded Ones in the first place and how freeing them would let the world now have equal rights for men and women (definitely did not sound that way in my opinion).
Would be interested in other similar concepts but for me with more backstory explanation and a deeper consideration for the consequences of their future actions.
