I LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS. I usually dislike romance books but this one was *chefs kiss*. Okay, there were some things that I didn’t like though:

1. How many times “okay, smart-ass” was said by Adam. Like if I had made it a drinking game I would be dead 4 chapters in.

2. How it went from like cutesy romcom amazing ness to like graphic 5 pages of graphic sex scenes? I’m not a prude, don’t take this as I hate sex talk. it just was the flow of from very romantic to like something I’d read on Literotica. I love romance scenes, I love a good sex scene, the transition between the two just was..weird for me.

3. The scene where Adam slammed Tom against the wall and said “don’t you talk about the woman I love like that”. Like I get it, it was meant to be romantic but I’m like.. why did he say it like that? It sounded awkward and unrealistic and I kinda cringed.

OKAY, but the good in this book was GOOD and I 100% sped through this book and was thinking about it all the time. Honestly would love to read another book by this author. This was a nice blend of sweet romance, coming of age and just amazing sexual tension. Amazing.

Very excited to read more from this author
