What a delightful start to the series! There were times when I felt like I was being thrust into a completely new world and expected to understand; however, I really enjoyed this method of world building and being able to piece together the expectations of this world was fun. Ophelia as a main character was wonderful, and her relationship with Thorn was definitely super intriguing (part of me followed this series to the end to get more of their relationship, despite the crumbs that we were fed, lol).
