Play Me Hard by Tracy Wolff

4.0

Play Me Hard is the third installment in the Play Me series. Play Me Hard picks up where Play Me Hot left off, so they should be read in order.

While there are some steamy scenes in Play Me Hard, this book is not nearly as erotic as Play Me Hot was. In this book we meet a new character named Ethan, who was one of Sebastian's best friends during the 10yrs that he spent outside of Vegas. We also begin to get a little more insight into what Sebastian did with the international charity and that he too has some baggage to deal with.

Although we don't see as much erotic content in this book, the idea of subdrop and subspace are discussed in some detail. This is a fabulous thing for those who are not familiar with the terms since it's explained from the POV of both Aria and Sebastian. During this novella, we see Sebastian take care of Aria after she begins to subdrop. As Aria and Sebastian begin to spend more time together, we see the intimacy between the two start to become closer.

Be prepared for a bit of a shocker and a cliffhanger at the end of this book. It will really build up the suspense for the fourth book in the series Play Me Real.
