📌“What’s right for someone else doesn’t make it right for you. You know that, right? You don’t have to feel guilty for not doing what everyone else is doing.”
📌“I was going to marry her. Really, I had no choice. Marley Cicero was meant to be mine, and I was meant to be hers. We would hash out the details later.”
📌“Maybe you fell for the fake label, but I knew from the start this was going to get real.”
There’s something so wholesome about seeing a FMC move past her down on her luck phase to embrace all of her worth. Marley came to us thinking she had nothing only to realize she had everything to offer. And we took it. We took it all and never will we ever let her go. Just like Jake won’t 😜
But despite the heaviness that life brings, Lucy Score once again made me laugh carefree with the hilarious scenes she creates. Her brain must be a marvelous place 😝
And if Marley was the hero we couldn’t help to root for, Jake was the love interest we couldn’t help but fall for. Fast and thoroughly.
The dash of second chance really did me in. Really, really… really. Or maybe it was the soccer team of young girls with endless wisdom about all things self esteem.
Regardless, thank you mood for making me read this. I’m forever thankful. 🫶🏼
