Fractured Fear by Ivy King

4.0

I am not often rendered speechless but, in this case, I am. I had thought I would know what the book would be about, but, I didn't, and I am not mad about it. It took awhile to get into, but I am now left on a cliffhanger, desperately needing the next book.

**Please be aware of some major triggers in this book before reading** But I also want to acknowledge, that Ivy has done an amazing job at articulating and addressing these as the book unfolded, and I am sure this will continue into the next book in the series.

Spencer (Spence) is the FMC, who has escaped a life no one deserves, or wishes for, and wants to stop the fear she has, that one day her past will catch up with her.

Now, here is where the delicious MMC's come in (and there will be a spice upgrade as this series goes on, because the build up has been hot). Zane, Rio and Asher are some delicious MMC's, each with quite different personalities and appearances, but they themselves have stories that I am sure will be further addressed as this story goes on. They all have Spence in their sights, and will do ANYTHING to make her feel safe, and protected. There is some red flags with each of them, but between grey sweatpants, grumpy, one word replies or grunts and "who hurt you" vibes, you just wish you could see them in your own life because holy hell. You can understand why Spence feels an attraction and connection to each of them. They have a way of taking care of the trash that wants to threaten Spence, and the cliffhanger I have been left on.....let's just hope, I am not waiting to long to know, what happens next. I am impressed with Ivy's writing, and am so glad I signed up for the opportunity to ARC read this. I think the best is yet to come, and I will be here for it.
