This is the kind of book that I'd forget two days later. It was unremarkable and just...meh I don't think this book has given a long-lasting impression on me. It's quite forgettable, not because of its QUALITY of the story, but the STORY itself. It's not as unique as I thought it'd be. Although the twist did make my jaw drop, it doesn't reallyjustify to rate it higher.
But anyway, it's readable (in a sense that you can tolerate reading it) and i won't stop you from reading this. But I'd suggest to not expect too much :)
PS. I hate how the pacing was in the beginning because it was slow and I despise slow or even medium-paced books. The prologue and the first few chapters didn't really captivate me, I just persisted reading through because I wanted to finish it. If you're the type who DNFs books because of a humdrum intro, then I don't think this book is even an option for a suggestion—IMO.
