I don't read romance books. Even queer romance books. But that's not what drew me to this book.

I started reading this book because the premise really interested me. To live in a world where you know its you last day to live and to try to figure out what you would do that day is mind bending. Who knows what could happen?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book; the connections, the world building, and the twists. You always KNEW that they would die, but the question of how and when is always tugging on your mind as you see everything unfold. Everything that happens in this book is connected, EVERYTHING, and it makes it so much more enjoyable. You could probably read through this book two or three times and not find all of the connections.

I, surprisingly, loved watching the two come together and end up loving each other. The romance in this book is so pure and heartbreaking, because you know it cannot go anywhere. These two completely different characters get to know each other and their lives in a day, where anything can go wrong, knowing they will die and never get live their lives out together.

I wish there was more backstory on the "villains" of this story. I think learning more about them would add even more to this story.
