amazing! a great sequel to legendborn!! 

i love how tracy deonn handled bree’s connection with her ancestors with rootcraft and her struggle with controlling it. it reminds me a lot of growing up with a spiritual mother, but not understanding anything she did.

this series really is for all the black girls who love fantasy 💗 read it!!
