Beacon 23 by Hugh Howey

5.0

Howey continues to explore the concept of "isolation" but this time on a much more individual basis and, without spoiling anything, on multiple levels. The net result, an extremely personal story that involves a very damaged protagonist thatI came to care for very much.

There is some action here but this is much more of an internalized story with a bit of interaction between people. I loved Wool, but I believe that Beacon 23 is the stronger story.
