My first HDC miss. The cliff hanger is very obvious to the point I was just waiting to finish it and everything else just felt like filler. It was just too freaking long; 300 pages would have done the job just fine.
*satin’s affair: if it’s not read first i don’t think it’s a must read tbh. Unless you love hunted houses and want something quick for season.
*the phantom: i read this first and feel it would have been better placed as a prequel book. I did find myself going back to it for reference because sometimes certain things in HA didn’t seem correct. If i followed the reading order i strongly believe i wouldn’t have enjoyed TP as much as i did.
