I was not particularly excited for Livvy's story, however i actually really enjoyed it.
I asked for more personality on the hero's part and Gareth Blackwater definitely delivered ✨ My favorite male protagonist of the series so far (though I'm still waiting on Ruben). I was very intrigued by grims reapers and the whole secrecy surrounding them and we finally figure it out.
I will, however, give it 4 stars because I would have liked more paranormal stuff and scenarios than just a marketing contest. But I can see the improvement on the paranormal world since book 1.
