I’m enjoying this story so far but I struggled to connect with the writing style. It was over descriptive and really repetitive- it could’ve been 200 pages shorter and got the same point across. Rooke is a badass and Soren is a little bitch. The next book better be 98% groveling and 2% plot because if this man isn’t on his knees begging in every page, he can kick rocks.
